Despite being grown in the heartland of industrial vineyards in Chile (known for mass-production of otherwise undistinguished wines), this is a delicate Pinot Noir. It shows ripe fruit flavours of wild strawberries and plums, balanced with subtle smoky notes, and a delicious, lingering finish. The surprising quality for the price is due to this wine being made under the supervision of flying winemaker Eric Monnin (who also makes our ever popular Boutinot Cotes du Rhone).
