Whilst Merlot was somewhat unfairly maligned after the film Sideways was released - in the wine trade we all know 'that' famous line - it is regaining its popularity.
Light red berries, sour plums and floral notes, with bright acidity and a juicy palate. Would suit barbecued duck and grilled lamb dishes.
