This Barbera d'Asti is medium-bodied with an abundance of ripe prune and intense wild plum notes on the nose, followed by flavours of red fruits and black cherries, as well as baking spice, herbal inflections and savoury smoky notes from a prolonged period in oak casks.
A versatile red, Barbera will go with dark meats, mushrooms and roasted root vegetables. Drinking now but it will keep for up to five years.
