Domaine René Cacheux et Fils is a hidden gem, consisting of just 3.26 hectares. The Domaine is headed by Gerald Cacheux, the fourth generation steward and he retains his father's name as an homage to heritage of this small producer.
Notes of red and black berries with warming spice on the nose. Velvety and beautifully rounded, with concentrated bramble fruit, toasty spice and an elegant, long finish.
Serve with roast lamb, pan-fried foie gras, guinea fowl or intensely flavoured cheeses such as epoisses or Langres
Open at least an hour before serving and serve between 16°C and 18°C.
