Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier
75cl * 12.5% ABV * Champagne, France
A classic for good reason: Dom Perignon is perhaps the most famous prestige cuvee of the Grand Marques, and named after the French monk who arguably did more for the Champagne region than anyone else. Showing a hint of the opulence that is to come with maturation: fresh white flowers, lemon zest, orchard fruit, toasted hazelnut and spiced orange peel. A fine example of a broad and rich Champagne, yet focussed and energetic at the same time. Pair with slightly spiced dishes, such as pan-fried scallops in chilli butter.
